Access Bank confirmed the completion of its acquisition of National Bank of Kenya (NBK) on 30 May 2025. The deal was agreed in March 2024 at 1.25 times NBK's book value.
National Bank of Kenya was previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of KCB Group. Access Bank already operated in Kenya through Access Bank Kenya.
