Bank of America launched Payments Insights, a new CashPro capability for corporate and commercial clients using U.S. accounts. The tool analyses payment efficiency, cross-border flows and working-capital performance. It presents tailored findings drawn from available client data. The bank said the service is part of its AI-powered CashPro Data Intelligence suite.

The tool gives treasury teams proprietary peer benchmarking and dynamic visualisations. Bank of America said it would help clients explore trends, identify areas that may require attention and turn data into action. Fortune reported that the product is intended to reduce time spent assembling and sorting treasury data.

PAYMENT DATA MOVES INTO TREASURY DECISIONS

The bank said the capability was built with direct input from clients, including members of its CashPro Boards.

Bank of America said CashPro processed 213 million payments during the first half of 2026, up 10% from a year earlier. That compared with 194 million in the first half of 2025.

PART OF A WIDER DATA SUITE

CashPro Data Intelligence also includes Capital Markets Insights, Mobile Security Insights, CashPro Forecasting and CashPro Search. The bank said Capital Markets Insights will become available online in October, and Security Insights is scheduled for global rollout to programme administrators in 2027.

Jennifer Sanctis, head of CashPro Personalized Technologies in Global Payments Solutions, said treasury teams manage enormous volumes of payments and foreign-exchange data, but that data only creates value when it is organised and delivered in a way that supports action.
