The Central Bank of Libya on 14 October invited commercial banks to subscribe to Issue No. 34 of 2026 of unrestricted (absolute) Mudaraba Deposit Certificates. The central bank said the issue follows the procedures and controls of previous issuances.

Terms follow earlier issuances

The central bank said it was inviting banks to subscribe "in accordance with the procedures and controls followed in previous issuances". It added that the issue is in line with the tenors and maturity dates specified in the subscription announcement.

Alwasat reported on 14 October that the central bank had offered the 34th issue of absolute Mudaraba certificates for subscription.

Third issue in three successive weeks

The previous issue, No. 33 of 2026, was announced on 6 October, eight days before Issue 34, according to the central bank. Its announcement used the same wording on procedures, controls, tenors and maturity dates.

Issue No. 32 of 2026 was announced on 29 September. Issues 32, 33 and 34 therefore came in successive weeks, which points to a roughly weekly cadence.
