Uzbekistan's Davr Bank, 51% of which is controlled by the International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB), will submit a rebranding and an update of its governing bodies to shareholders.

The agenda includes approval of a new version of the Charter, a change in the bank's brand name, a complete renewal of the Supervisory Board and a partial renewal of the management board.

Shareholders will also consider changes to the dividend policy and approval of new internal documents. They will have to determine remuneration and compensation for independent Supervisory Board members, consider creating an audit commission and select an organisation to conduct a mandatory audit.

The ABB Davr Bank project was officially opened on 23 August 2026 during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Uzbekistan, with the presidents of both countries taking part. S&P Global Ratings upgraded Davr Bank's long-term credit rating from B to B+.

After the acquisition, Davr Bank will account for 10 to 11% of the consolidated ABB group's total assets and equity. As part of the acquisition, ABB Bank will synchronise its existing digital banking platforms and risk management systems with Davr Bank's infrastructure.
