Egyptian fintech Fawry reported full-year 2024 revenue of EGP 5.51 billion, representing a 68% increase compared with the prior year. The results were disclosed in March 2025.
Net profit rose 124.6% to EGP 1.61 billion over the period.
FIVE MILLION DAILY TRANSACTIONS ACROSS EGYPT
Fawry processed 1.93 billion transactions in 2024, about 5.3 million a day, through its national payment network, a volume that spans a wide range of use cases including bill payments, mobile top-ups, e-commerce gateway processing, and financial services collections on behalf of banks, insurance companies, and utility providers. The network reaches Egyptian consumers through more than 370,000 points of sale — typically small kiosks, pharmacies, and neighbourhood retail outlets — as well as through digital channels including the company's mobile application and its online payment gateway integrations used by merchants and institutions.
