GXS Bank, the Singapore digital bank owned by Grab Holdings (60%) and Singtel (40%), has bought 2.44 billion shares in PT Super Bank Indonesia Tbk (Superbank), giving it a 7.22% stake in the Jakarta-listed digital lender, according to shareholding disclosures on the Indonesia Stock Exchange published in early June 2026.

A5-DB Holdings, another Grab-affiliated investor, bought a further 47.23 million Superbank shares in the same period. Both purchases were executed through PT Mandiri Sekuritas. Together, the transactions bring Grab's combined exposure to Superbank shares to 23.5%. PATH TO CONSOLIDATION

The share purchases come after Grab said in May that Singtel Alpha Investments would transfer its Superbank shareholding to GXS Bank. Grab said the transfer would lift its combined direct and indirect stake in Superbank to more than 50%, and that it would consolidate Superbank's financial results into its financial services segment. Singtel will remain a strategic investor in both GXS Bank and Superbank.

Grab first invested in Superbank in 2022. The lender launched its app in June 2024 and has since gained more than six million customers. It listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in December 2025 and has been elevated to KBMI 2 status by Indonesia's Financial Services Authority, OJK, under the regulator's classification of banks by core capital.

Superbank reported its first full-year profit for 2025, and as of April 2026 its total assets had risen 72% year on year to IDR 24 trillion, with net interest income up 84%.
