JPMorgan Chase reported a total notional of USD 2.14 billion in Sustainable Bonds outstanding as of 30 November 2024, according to its 2024 Annual Sustainable Bond Report, published on 29 May 2025. The report sets out the allocation of bond proceeds across a portfolio of eligible green projects that includes wind energy installations, residential solar energy systems, and utility-scale solar energy projects. The bonds are issued under JPMorgan Chase's October 2022 Sustainable Bond Framework, and PricewaterhouseCoopers examined management's assertion that eligible projects with an aggregate nominal amount of USD 4.13 billion exceed the USD 2.13 billion of net proceeds of the outstanding bonds.

The Sustainable Bonds outstanding sit within JPMorgan Chase's broader USD 2.5 trillion Sustainable Development Target.

ALLOCATION STATUS

The report showed eligible projects of USD 4.13 billion against USD 2.13 billion of net proceeds, meaning the outstanding bonds remained fully allocated.
