Mynt, the parent of mobile wallet GCash, priced its Philippine initial public offering at PHP6.60 a share. The base transaction targets about PHP53 billion, or $844.7 million, in proceeds. Full exercise of a 1.2 billion-share overallotment could lift the total to about PHP60.9 billion and make it the country’s largest IPO.

The final price replaces the PHP10 maximum used when regulators cleared the offering in September. The Philippine Stock Exchange confirmed the PHP6.60 price in an announcement published on 1 October. Trading is scheduled to begin on 20 October under the ticker GCASH.

DEMAND SETS FINAL PRICE

Mynt said institutional bookbuilding was multiple times oversubscribed, with demand from global and domestic investors exceeding cornerstone commitments. The company plans to sell up to 8.03 billion shares before any overallotment. Cornerstone investors had committed to buy PHP36.5 billion of stock before the public offer.

The offering combines primary and secondary shares. Mynt plans to direct most primary proceeds towards digital-financial-services growth and product development. First-half net income rose 7.3% to PHP10.82 billion, while revenue increased 10.4% to PHP43.27 billion.

PAYMENTS PLATFORM ENTERS PUBLIC MARKET

GCash has expanded from mobile payments into savings, credit, insurance and investments, making the listing a test of public-market demand for Philippine fintech. At the base deal size, the IPO would exceed total Philippine equity issuance in the first nine months of 2026. The transaction therefore carries significance beyond Mynt’s own funding programme.

The retail offer is scheduled for 6 to 12 October. Investors will next watch final allocations, use of the overallotment and the 20 October debut. Those steps will determine whether the transaction reaches the record implied by full exercise of the additional-share option.
