OPERATING INCOME GROWS AS PROVISIONS FALL

Operating income grew 6% year-on-year in Q1 2025, while net income from the Treasury and investments segment rose 22% year-on-year. The bank attributed the segment's growth to higher net special commission income and a 22% rise in fee and other income, largely from higher realised gains on financial instruments.

Provisions for credit losses fell 25% year-on-year.

The cost-to-income ratio improved to 41.2% from 43.0% in Q1 2024.
