Sea Limited rebranded its financial services division from SeaMoney to Monee on 8 May 2025, coinciding with the company's 16th anniversary, and opened a new global headquarters for the business at Rochester Commons in Singapore spanning 10 floors and over 200,000 square feet.
The division posted full-year revenue of USD 2.4 billion, representing a 34.6% increase year on year. In the fourth quarter of 2024 alone, financial services revenue grew 55.2% year on year to USD 733.3 million, making it the fastest-growing segment within the Sea group.
CREDIT BUSINESS
Sea's three principal businesses are Garena (gaming), Shopee (e-commerce) and Monee (financial services).
The 55.2% year-on-year growth in financial services revenue in Q4 2024 was driven mainly by the expansion of Monee's credit business, whose consumer and SME loans outstanding reached USD 5.1 billion at the end of 2024, up 63.9% year on year.
