Banco Santander Brasil announced on 22 December 2025 that it has nominated Carlos Muñiz González-Blanch to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer. The nomination was disclosed through a Form 6-K filing submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
Muñiz González-Blanch will succeed Gustavo Alejo Viviani, who will step down as Executive Vice President and Investor Relations Officer at the end of April 2026. Muñiz González-Blanch, a 20-year Santander Group veteran, is currently Global CFO of Santander Corporate & Investment Banking; under the new structure the CFO will also oversee Accounting.

Santander Brasil is majority-owned by Spain's Banco Santander and operates as the group's principal Brazilian subsidiary.
REGULATORY APPROVAL
The filing said Viviani will step down at the end of April 2026, subject to his successor receiving the applicable regulatory approvals.
