How the rankings are built
Figures come from each bank's own audited financial statements, official full-year results release or exchange filing; nothing is estimated. FY2025 is each bank's latest audited year ending between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026. US dollar figures use official central-bank exchange rates at each bank's year end; growth tables use each bank's own currency. Digital and sustainable finance measures follow each bank's own definition, which is given in the data. The full methodology is on the rankings page.
