CIMB Group completed a dual leadership transition at the top of its organisation on 1 July 2024, with Novan Amirudin assuming the role of Group Chief Executive Officer and Gurdip Singh Sidhu taking over as Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Bank and Malaysia. Dato' Abdul Rahman Ahmad's tenure as Group CEO ended on 30 June 2024.
CIMB Group operates across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, and several other markets in the region.

Novan Amirudin succeeds Dato' Abdul Rahman Ahmad, who had led the group through the execution of CIMB's Forward23+ strategic plan. The group confirmed the new appointment in June 2024.
GURDIP SINGH SIDHU LEADS DOMESTIC FRANCHISE
Gurdip Singh Sidhu's appointment places him at the head of CIMB Bank and the group's Malaysia business. Bank Negara Malaysia has held the overnight policy rate at 3.00% since May 2023.
