Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Amanda Murphy to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Business and Commercial Banking, effective February 2026. Murphy, who joins from HSBC, where she most recently led commercial banking for South and South-East Asia, succeeds Elyn Corfield and will head a division that provides lending, deposits, treasury management, and related financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-market businesses across the United Kingdom.
