The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the appointment of Husain Almohri as Group Chief Executive – Markets and Client Solutions, with the role taking effect on 4 January 2026. The appointment brings to the bank an executive whose career spans over 25 years of regional and international banking experience in trading, treasury management, and capital markets.
NBB is the Kingdom's first locally owned bank and is designated a domestic systemically important bank in Bahrain. The Markets and Client Solutions division covers the business lines through which NBB engages with capital markets activity and manages its client-facing treasury and trading operations.
ALMOHRI'S BACKGROUND
The bank's announcement described Almohri's experience as spanning regional and international contexts. He most recently served as Managing Director – Head of Trading MENAT and Regional Head of MENA Markets at HSBC Investment Bank in Dubai.
