Nubank has appointed Livia Chanes as chief executive officer of its Brazilian operation, the São Paulo-headquartered digital bank announced on 22 January 2024. Chanes, who had been guiding the Brazilian business as Country Manager since the second half of 2022, steps into the CEO role for Nubank's largest market, formalising a leadership mandate she had already been exercising in practice for over a year, and joining the Nu Holdings executive management team.
