Checkout.com published its 2024 annual letter on 23 January 2025, reporting 40% overall net revenue growth for the year.

The Commerce and Fintech segment, which Checkout.com said now accounts for 95% of total payment volumes processed across the platform, grew 45% during 2024. The segment grew five percentage points faster than the group as a whole.

GLOBAL FOOTPRINT REACHES 55 COUNTRIES

Checkout.com has operations in 55 countries and added 30 new local payment methods during 2024. The company now holds nine domestic acquiring licences.

REVENUE AND OUTLOOK

Checkout.com did not provide a revenue figure in the annual letter. The company's last disclosed external valuation was $40 billion following a fundraising round in 2022, and the annual letter made no reference to fundraising activity or changes to the shareholder structure.

The letter said Checkout.com exited 2024 profitably, expects full-year profitability in 2025 and is targeting 30% growth, and that its US business grew more than 80% in 2024. The letter said its licences, operations in 55 countries and support for more than 145 currencies enable merchants to process payments globally while meeting local needs.
